I believe that this is good news for the Orange Line extension:
[Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority] has reached a deal with Virginia officials to take control of the Dulles Toll Road and use the revenue to move quickly to build a Metrorail line to Dulles International Airport, sources familiar with the agreement said last night.
The major objection raised by Fairfax County officials is that a cap on tolls paid by drivers on the Toll Road isn't in place. (Thanks to dcist.)
