Leta had to help me out when I couldn't remember who called whom a liar in the Mary McCarthy-Lillian Hellman dustup. Heck, it was 25 years ago. Anyhow, Dick Cavett's recollection of the story is online at The New Yorker (surprisingly, for keeps).
